Primary education is a stage of mandatory education for children between six and twelve years of age.
Its aim is to provide all students with common training that enables them to develop individual motor skills, personal balance, relationship skills and social skills with the acquisition of basic cultural knowledge.
Primary education is essential in order for children to learn how to develop their skills and abilities, given that as a result of the teaching provided by the teacher the child can learn about issues of great interest through games and various teaching strategies.
Our school assists in the achievement of the general objectives of primary education and the acquisition of basic skills in order to provide students with integrated instruction, providing them with solid training in all areas of the curriculum and emphasising the importance of sport, languages, music and education in values.
Communication with families is essential in order to encourage child development. The calendars allow us to exchange daily information with families on different aspects of the schooling of their child. Each month, families receive an academic report that provides a summary of the development of the student that month.
The centre has outdoor areas where students can enjoy their leisure time and music, judo and dance rooms for these activities. In the IT room, students learn how to use various programs as tools to assist them in their study, with English as the language of communication.

Multilingualism
Our students enjoy the benefits of a bilingual education (SPANISH-ENGLISH) from eight months of age and throughout their school education. In primary and compulsory secondary education, the curriculum has been enhanced with additional “speaking” classes and classes to prepare our students for the official Cambridge examinations to which they have access. From the first year of primary education students will also take Valencian and, from the first year of CSE, German. Students can also take classes in Chinese as an extracurricular activity, complementing their multilingual education.

Aware that education should not be limited to the mere acquisition of academic knowledge, and based on the principle of the integrated development of the child, our aim is to provide an education in values for the training process.

Nowadays, education in values is of great importance, since human behaviour is governed by principles and values that form the cornerstone of society. For this reason, we have opted for an education that trains people to think critically and who can make better life decisions, who respect others and who have a commitment to the environment. In short, this education creates people who are more secure, fair and content, since the ultimate objective is to ensure that people grow in terms of their freedom, rights and obligations.
Childhood and primary education are optimal periods for the acquisition of values. These operate in a transversal manner in classes, incorporating them in all areas of the curriculum.
At our school, the values taught include ORDER, GENEROSITY, WORK, EFFORT, RESPONSIBILITY AND JOY. To successfully teach these values, collaboration with families is essential: the teaching of these values should start in the family home, with these values to expanded upon and reinforced at school. Between all of us, we must help create a more respectful, caring and tolerant society.
Music
Musical education is of great importance in the integrated education of the child: music stimulates participation, integration, creativity and imagination.
Our centre is aware of the importance of music. For this reason, it helps encourage music from the second year of childhood education; it is at this stage that children begin to express themselves in other ways and can actively integrate.
From primary education onwards, our students encounter in the world of music, both on a theoretical and a practical level, the learning of various instruments such as the recorder, guitar and piano, since musical expression generates a number of benefits and stimulates all human abilities: logical-mathematical reasoning abstraction, memory, order and communication, among others. It can also increase awareness, allowing all children to enjoy it.
In short, the aim of our centre is not just to teach music but also to educate with music, as we consider it useful and necessary for child development.

Sport and healthy living habits must have an important presence in our lives, in that they contribute to the achievement of general objectives, incorporating all corporal practices that attempt to develop psychomotor, physiomotor and sociomotor skills in students.
Participation in sport and healthy living habits contribute to the formation of character and increase self-confidence, which should be developed in children from a very early age for their own benefit. School is an ideal context in which to encourage healthy living habits and an interest in sport, in that it offers them the opportunity to participate in sport in an organised manner and taking the needs of each student into account. Each student is encouraged to understand their own body and their possibilities, and to become familiar with and master a number of physical and sporting activities. As a result, in the future students will be able to choose the activities best suited to their personal development, helping them acquire the knowledge, skills, attitudes and habits that enable them to improve their living conditions and health. In turn, they will be able to value the possibilities of movement as a means of enrichment, personal enjoyment and relationships with others. Thus, as a centre of education, we contribute not only through physical education but also with participation in sport during free time to achieve and develop in students the following abilities, among others:
- Learn about and value their bodies and physical activity as a means of exploration and enjoyment.
- Adopt healthy, balanced hygiene and eating habits.
- Participate in games and activities devoid of any type of discrimination.
- Experience teamwork, learn to accept defeat and enjoy victory.
