Compulsory secondary education (CSE) is a mandatory stage of education that complements basic education. It consists of four academic years that are usually completed between the ages of 12 and 16.
The aim of our project is to ensure that our students acquire the skills and knowledge they need to achieve satisfactory self-fulfilment and inclusion in adult and professional life, in accordance with the principle of attention to diversity and attending to the education needs of each student.
The cornerstones of our education project are multilingualism, musical education, education in values and education in new technologies. The centre has a wide variety of teaching resources to achieve our objectives. Of special note are the science lab, the language lab, the music room, the IT room and various audio-visual resources.
Los pilares de nuestro proyecto educativo son el plurilingüismo, la educación musical, la educación en valores y la educación para las nuevas tecnologías. El centro dispone de una gran variedad de recursos didácticos para la consecución de nuestros objetivos, cabe destacar el laboratorio de ciencias, el laboratorio de idiomas, el aula de música, el aula de informática y diversos medios audiovisuales.

Official accreditation
Given that we are aware of the importance of official accreditation of linguistic competence in English, students in 2nd and 4th year of CSE receive two extra hours of instruction to prepare them for the official University of Cambridge examinations.
- 2nd year of CSE: Preliminary English Test. Level B1
- 4th year of CSE: First Certificate in English. Level B2
Furthermore, with the study abroad program our students can put their knowledge of English into practice and learn about and enjoy the customs and cultural aspects of an English-speaking country.
Music
Musical education plays an important role in the development of young people. Our students receive an extra hour of instruction in music to learn a musical instrument.
Multilingualism
We offer a multilingual plan, in which our students can acquire communicative competence in different languages. To achieve this objective, curricular materials are distributed as follows according to the language used:
- English 15 sessions per week
- Spanish 10 sessions per week
- Valencian 5 sessions per week
- Other language 3 sessions per week

To recognise the work and effort of our students, the centre offers annual scholarships as prizes for excellence.
