CELEBRACIÓN DE LAS FALLAS EN ENTRENARANJOS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL
En una demostración de compromiso con la conciencia ambiental y la educación sostenible, el colegio ENTRENARANJOS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL ha llevado a cabo una emocionante celebración de las Fallas, destacando la importancia del agua como recurso vital. Bajo el lema «El agua es vida», el colegio ha abrazado los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) de la ONU, particularmente el Objetivo 6: Agua limpia y saneamiento, y el Objetivo 14: Vida submarina.
La iniciativa, que se enmarca en el currículum educativo, busca sensibilizar a la comunidad estudiantil sobre la necesidad de preservar y proteger nuestros recursos hídricos y marinos. Según la ONU, la escasez de agua es una realidad creciente que afecta a millones de personas en todo el mundo, y la contaminación marina representa una amenaza seria para la vida en la Tierra. Con este contexto en mente, el colegio ha decidido rendir homenaje a estos objetivos cruciales a través de su monumento fallero.
Desde los primeros momentos de la jornada, los estudiantes de infantil y primaria se sumergieron en la temática, explorando diferentes aspectos relacionados con la importancia del agua y la vida marina. Con ingenio y creatividad, cada grupo contribuyó con sus propias interpretaciones a la construcción del monumento fallero, llenándolo de color y significado.
La comunidad educativa se unió para dar forma a la celebración, animando a las familias a participar en la elaboración de la falla con trabajos manuales que reflejaran la temática propuesta. Desde ninots tridimensionales hasta teatrillos y maquetas, cada contribución enriqueció el mensaje de conciencia ambiental y responsabilidad compartida.
El día culminó con la apertura del colegio a las familias quienes visitaron la falla y merendaron chocolate caliente y coca de llanda con sus hijos/as.
En definitiva, el colegio Entrenaranjos International School ha demostrado una vez más su compromiso con la educación en valores y la promoción de un futuro sostenible. A través de la celebración de las Fallas, ha destacado la importancia del agua como elemento vital para la vida en el planeta, inspirando a las generaciones presentes y futuras a cuidar y proteger nuestro entorno natural.
CELEBRATION OF THE FALLAS AT ENTRENARANJOS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL
In a demonstration of commitment to environmental awareness and sustainable education, ENTRENARANJOS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL has carried out an exciting celebration of the Fallas, highlighting the importance of water as a vital resource. Under the motto «Water is life,» the school has embraced the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 6: Clean Water and Sanitation, and Goal 14: Life Below Water.
The initiative, integrated into the educational curriculum, aims to raise awareness among the student community about the need to preserve and protect our water and marine resources. According to the UN, water scarcity is a growing reality affecting millions of people worldwide, and marine pollution poses a serious threat to life on Earth. With this context in mind, the school has decided to pay tribute to these crucial goals through its Falla monument.
From the early moments of the day, kindergarten and primary students immersed themselves in the theme, exploring different aspects related to the importance of water and marine life. With ingenuity and creativity, each group contributed their own interpretations to the construction of the Falla monument, filling it with color and meaning.
The educational community came together to shape the celebration, encouraging families to participate in the making of the Falla with handicrafts reflecting the proposed theme. From three-dimensional ninots to small theaters and models, each contribution enriched the message of environmental awareness and shared responsibility.
The day ended with the school opening its doors to families who visited the Falla and enjoyed hot chocolate and coca de llanda with their children.
